Felix Schoeller North America is looking for a self-starting individual who can work well both independently and with a team in a technical sales environment. We have created a new sales position to help support the fast-growing Felix Schoeller Release business segment servicing North and South America. The position is based in Pulaski, New York.

Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of papermaking, paper & film converting, or pressure sensitive adhesives would be advantageous.
  • Creative thinking and problem solving; strong customer and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence within agreed policies, targets and budgets.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and forecast into actionable plans to ensure the highest level of customer service and continuity of supply.
  • Project Management skills.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Working with the VP Sales to help commercial team maintain and establish new business with current and potential customers.
  • Working closely with local and European colleagues through the entire sales process including product development, pricing, negotiating, scheduling, forecasting and delivery.
  • Working closely with customer applications supporting product development both internally and by attending trials and participating in business development meetings.
  • Ability to assimilate technical requirements and be the voice of customer on cross functional teams driving problem solving, claims or product development processes.
  • Effective use and maintenance of CRM.
  • Coordination and involvement in trade shows and potential social media information/details.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Americas business based in Pulaski, NY has recently invested in onshoring release liner siliconization to support further growth in both North and South America.
